FOR ALL FIRE AND MEDICAL EMERGENCIES FIRST DIAL 911 and then call our Public Safety Department to advise them of the situation.

Our Public Safety Department is here to serve the community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They are dedicated to ensuring the health, safety and security of all Masthope property owners, guests and renters, treating them with respect and courtesy while promoting compliance with all Masthope deed restrictions, bylaws, codes and laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Please report any road issues and conditions to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Compactor hours:

Monday and Wednesday 7am-10am, Friday 3pm-5pm, Saturday 1pm-4pm and Sunday 9am-5pm

Hours are extended during the summer and during holidays (check Masthope Weekly for special hours). During school delays due to inclement weather, the compactor hours will be delayed by one hour. Bulk trash is accepted during POC administrative hours and must be paid for in the Administrative Offices before dumping.

The Summit Restaurant & Bar – (570) 685-1173

The Summit Restaurant is open to the public year round with special events and live entertainment. We are a smoke free facility.

We also have a gorgeous banquet room on the top. We offer several banquet and wedding packages, to fit your needs and budget. We offer on-site capability so we can host your wedding ceremony right here. We go through the whole process with you, so you never feel that you're all alone. All of this combined with a panoramic view of the mountains, you'll understand why we are the best kept secret in the Pocono's.

Our country marketplace offers the community a wide array of items for your convenience, including; Boar’s Head deli meats, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, snacks, Pennsylvania Lottery & Instant Scratch-Off Tickets, postage stamps, novelty items, grocery items and toiletry items.

And coming soon our new coffee bar featuring Eight O’Clock Coffee!

Ski Big Bear is a friendly, family oriented ski area offering skiing, snowboarding and tubing in Northeast Pennsylvania. Our Ski area is a great place to learn to ski or snowboard. We have patient and fun instructors who work hard to help you succeed. We also have a variety of terrain, allowing you to gradually progress but also allowing your friends and family who may not be beginners to ski or snowboard more challenging terrain.
