Masthope is a fast growing four seasons single home private community situated in the most northern tier of the Pocono Mountains.

With a full variety of amenities to enjoy such as skiing, boating and swimming at our lake and pool, horse back riding and a multitude of sports activities that are only enhanced by a never ending list of seasonal events, there is something to enjoy for everyone. Our state of the art Summit at Masthope Lodge, built in 2005, houses our Summit Grill Room where you can enjoy some of the finest dining in Pike County. Open to the public, patrons can enjoy food and spirits while taking in the spectacular breath-taking view over the Delaware River.

The Stables at Masthope

Masthope stable staff cares for a heard of approximately 30 horses that are ready to go with pony rides, trail rides and arena rides. A full schedule of daily trail rides is available all summer and a modified schedule is available during the fall and spring seasons. Winter arena and pony rides are available during regular stable hours by appointment. Please keep in mind that long pants and closed toe shoes are required for all types of rides. Trail riders must show up 15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment. Private western riding lessons are available. Please take one of our flyers found around the community and check the Weekly Messages for more information. Please don't forget to bring the children down to our petting zoo! All trail rides must be booked in advance by calling 570-685-4427.

The Fitness Center at Masthope

With a room full of fitness equipment, this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what we have to offer. Yoga, power walks, jazz, yo-wei, chair aerobics, tap class; just to name a few of the classes we offer. Personal trainers are also available for those who need an individual private touch and after a vigorous work out who wouldn't need a massage from our personal Massage Therapist. Masthope Public Safety

Public Safety is here to endeavor to ensure the health, safety and security of all Masthope property owners, guests and renters in a customer friendly environment. In doing so, we will take all necessary measures to ensure that all owners, guests and renters are treated with the utmost respect and courtesy while promoting compliance with all Masthope deed restrictions, bylaws, codes and laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. FIRE AND MEDICAL EMERGENCIES DIAL 911. All other Public Safety matters 570-685-5888 24/7.

Masthope Maintenance Department

Please report any road issues to the Maintenance Supervisor at 570-685-3120. Compactor hours are generally as follows: Monday and Wednesday from 7am to 10am. Friday from 3pm to 5pm. Saturday from 1pm to 4pm and Sunday from 9am to 5pm. Bulk trash will be on the third Saturday of the month. Hours will be extended during the summer and during holidays and during school delays due to snow, compactor hours will be delayed one hour. Check the Weekly Messages for up-to-date information.

Directions to Shopping

Directions to Hawley, PA (Lake Region Supermarket)

Exit Lodge parking lot to the right and go down Karl Hope Blvd. to main entrance / exit. Turn right and follow this road to the end (approximately 3.5 miles). At this point, on your left, you will see a restaurant called Cuckoos Nest. At the stop sign turn Right onto Rt. 590. You will be headed for Hawley. Stay on Rt. 590 and you will enter the west side of town at the intersection of Rt. 6 at Spruce Street. To get to Lake Region Supermarket (Great Valu) turn left onto Rt. 6 east and go through center of town. About one mile from center of town, after passing through business district and on your left you will see Lake Region Supermarket (Great Valu).

Directions to Honesdale, PA (K-Mart, Walmart, etc)

At point in road where Rt. 590 intersects with Rt. 6 at Spruce Street on west side of Hawley, after stop sign go straight and follow Rt. 6 West. You will go through White Mills and Indian Orchid. Continue on Rt. 6 West and you will find a shopping center on the left. At this shopping center you will find K-Mart, McDonalds, Cinema 6 Movie Theatre, etc. Wal-Mart will be up the hill on right side, across from shopping center.

Wayne County Memorial Hospital

Follow directions for Hawley/Honesdale and continue on Rt. 6 West for several more miles to Honesdale business district. At amber blinking light bear left cross bridge and turn right onto Church Street. Follow Church Street all the way to other end and turn Left. Stay in Left lane and make Right Turn at traffic light. (This is a dual lane Right turn). After Right turn go across bridge and make left turn at traffic light. Hospital is one block ahead on the Right. Travel time to Wayne County Memorial Hospital is about 30 minutes under ideal weather conditions.

To Sure Way Market

Coming out of the community from the Falling Waters Side, make a right (make a left if coming our of the Masthope Rapids Ski Big Bear side). Go to the end of road, at stop sign, make a right. Go to end of road, at stop sign, make a left on to Route 590. Sure Way is approximately 7 miles up on the right side of the road.
